Feeling lower than a snake's belly

It was meant to be a happy occasion, Elijah's baptism, and everything was going really well, until Tamah and I started to bounce on the trampoline.

Let's just say that I can only bring myself to write about it now and that has been after 2 weeks of feeling really terrible that my little girl now has a cast around her beautiful brown right leg,(yes, it's broken in 3 places)...
.

The cast hasn't stopped her though... she is still hauling herself and calling out to us to lift her... who said that women weren't demanding!!!

Here are some pictures of our beautiful kids

After a year

Well I know that this post has been late, but we have already celebrated the fact that Tamah has been home over a year.
And what a year it has been... here are the 2 new editions on our right.

Joel's birthday was on the 4th April, and we thought about being in Hua Hin last year... it was a little bit closer to home in Dromore.

We have just written a letter at the start of this week to the Thai Embassy in London for some of the Embassy staff to come to Northern Ireland to register Tamah's adoption. Will be looking forward to hearing from them soon http://www.thaiembassyuk.org.uk/newversion/index.php

It has been hard to watch what has been happening for Thailand, and we pray that some sort of solution can be found quickly. Things seem to be heating up every day, and after the death of 21 deaths in Bangkok http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/8631277.stm

On a much happier note, the kids are doing great... Joel is a great help; Tamah has been a little bit unsettled after our break in Coleraine but is now doing really well; Elijah has been a great little boy, even when he has got tests, there is still a smile on his little face.

The Final Piece in the Jigsaw

Well time at the minute is a precious commodity... having 2 small children, and one big lad is busy work, but brilliant fun.

Elijah is such a good boy, and although Tamah has been very hard to put down to bed of late, (she has now good a little better), things couldn't be better.

We still have to pinch ourselves to think that this time last year we only had one child, (what a difference a year makes).

The kids get along together like a house on fire, Tamah and Joel are absolutely besotted with their baby brother, and he laughs and smiles when they are playing with him.

I called this blog, the last piece of the jigsaw, because this week we received our invitation to the Thai Embassy in London. Once we sign a couple of forms there, and the papers get sent to Bangkok and then Stormont, Tamah will officially be our little girl. It is a huge paper chase this adoption, but it is all worth it in the end - Tamah is such a special little girl.

Below is a little video of our newest arrival...

Elijah Norman Martin

On January 6th we had a new addition to the family... Joel & Tamah's new brother, Elijah, (he weighed in at 8lbs 1 oz)

The kids absolutely love him, as do Lesa and I... he is absolutely gorgeous... we'll tell you more about him soon

Christmas Day

Well Christmas Day was a very special day in the Martin home as it was our first with Tamah. Plenty of presents and fun... we now need an extension!

Tamah's first snow

Over the last few days, Jack Frost has being doing his work round Dromore. It has been the first time that Tamah has experienced the snow and ice, and she has loved it.

To tell you the truth, when the snow falls, I become a big kid too. It was also great to have my dad down on Sunday, (for Joel's Nativity), and for him to see the kids playing in the snow.

Joel and Tamah had great fun with the Little Tike's horse. They turned it into a sled and had a lot of joy from being pulled up and down the driveway. I was wrecked!

Sadly now it is all beginning to thaw and all we are left with is a pile of slush. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm praying for a white Christmas... just enough snow on the ground to slide around, but not too much, because we're driving up to Belfast on Friday!

I'm sure I will blogging over Christmas, so for now I'll just say... wrap up warm!!!
